This is a very good book. Jessica Sorenson does it again. Her books always keep my attention to where I have to finish or it just drives me insane .
I was disappointed with this book. Normally I like Jessica Sorensen books. But this one drove me crazy. There were a few moments when I liked it but overall not a very good read. All the blood words and references for slang got on my nerves and so did the MC.
I would recommend this book to everyone it's a great book.I can't wait for the next book.I was hooked as soon as I read the first paragraph.
Ok, so I had this book for a while not entirely sure I wanted to read it. After saying that i am extremely glad that i did. Raven is an ordinary vampire with no special magic or so she believes. After a century she is chosen as the new vampire queen. To make matters worse the newly chosen king is Rhyland. They have never been friends, in fact Rhyland and his brother Kingsley have on occasion helped her sister Nadine torment her. As Raven tries to come to terms with her new statues as future queen, she realizes that the people closest to her are keeping secrets from her. Can she figure it out before it’s to late? Read Tempting Raven to find out.

I read this so quickly because I couldn't put it down- I get bored easily so that's always a good sign. Raven is an almost 19 year old vampire that hasn't had a great time so far. Her sister Nadine is a nasty piece of work, and so are Nadine's two guy friends that always hang around her & torment Raven. In the vampire society created by the author, vampires, at age 19, get a 'reading' from fate that tells them how powerful they're destined to be among other things. Before Raven has a chance to get her reading, though, a lot of surprising changes happen in her life very quickly. I don't want to go into more detail than that because it will be too spoilery. It's a fast paced, easy to read story with interesting secondary characters. I like how Raven's romance is developing- lots of tension and chemistry there. The ending was actually a shocker. I usually find it pretty easy to guess where a story is going to go based on the hints but I did not expect what was revealed and now I'm very excited to read the next book.
