Although, I may not be considered a connoisseur of wine, I have been tasting, drinking wine nationally and internationally in varied restaurants and hotels since 1965. Bryden's book is well written and easily understandable for wine and non-wine drinkers, complimented very well with photos of different wines and what they should look like. Reading his book made me more knowledgeable, understanding subtle differences in some of my more favorite wines; as well as those that caused me difficulty determining exactly what I liked and dis-liked about the wine and why. My husband, a non-drinker, also enjoyed and understood the book; although, he'll remain a non-drinker. Highly recommend.Product details

What a great book! Mr. Bryden really Simplifies the process of understanding and enjoying wine to a level that is attainable for any amateur aspiring to learn more . While I may never refine my tastes quite to his level; Bob's beautifully illustrated book has me on my way to become my own (basic) version of a Sommelier!
